A Baxter County man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman and taking her car. 40-year-old Joshua Louis Brotherton of Gamaliel is charged with felony theft of property and misdemeanor charge of third-degree domestic batter. Brotherton also had a warrant for failure to appear. Brotherton was arrested in Howell County and transferred to Baxter County.
