A man from West Plains suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon in Howell County. 29-year-old Matthew Jones was injured when he lost control of the Motorcycle while trying to make a turn. Jones was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on Highway AP about 7 miles southwest of Willow Springs.
A Woman and two children were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening north of Houston. The Highway Patrol reports that 20-year-old Alice Morgan from Plato and a 7-year-old Boy and 5-year-old Girl both from Licking all suffered minor injuries when, Morgan hit the rear of a vehicle that had stopped in front of her. The Two children were in the vehicle that had stopped driven by 40-year-old Desirae Counts of Licking. The accident happened on highway 63 about 2 miles north of Houston.
A Rogersville child was injured and a man arrested after an ATV accident Saturday night in Wright County. According to reports a 4-year-old girl suffered serious injuries when 40-year-old Justin Reese drove off the road and overturned the vehicle he was driving. The 4-year-old was taken to Cox South in Springfield. Reese is charged with second degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child, DWI, unlawfully operating an ATV in a careless and imprudent manner resulting in a crash and unlawful carry a passenger on an ATV resulting in a crash. He was taken to the Wright County jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
