A man from Thayer has been arrested on rape and kidnapping charges. 56-year-old Ricky Moore Gibson was arrested Friday and placed on a 24-hour hold. Then on Saturday an Oregon County warrant was issued for felony first degree rape or attempted rape, aggravated sexual offense, and felony first degree kidnapping, he is being held in the Thayer jail without bond.
