The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of a man from Bruner Missouri after a short foot pursuit. Deputies were conducted a DWI enforcement stop and made a total of 16 traffic stops including the stop of a vehicle driven by 49-year-old John Fink. Fink ran from the deputies but was caught and is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, felony resisting arrest, misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less prior drug offense, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $15,000 cash with conditions of CPS supervision and twice a week drug testing.
