Three people were injured in an accident Tuesday evening in Douglas County. The highway Patrol reports that 55-year-old Tracy Carter of Richmond, 64-year-old Sallie Walker of West Plains and 65-year-old David Hollinger of Pomona all suffered minor injuries when Hollinger drove off the road and struck an embankment. All three were taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on highway 14 about 15 miles east of Ava.
