Authorities in Independence County are searching for a man reported missing on Sunday. 21-year-old Trysten Mertz was last seen my family members on Sunday morning, walking on Collietown Road with another man headed toward the river. His family said he has never gone this long without contacting them. They also said that he was going through a period on depression but has never threatened to harm himself.
