Authorities in Texas County are investigating an accidental shooting death of a child. The shooting happened Monday in the Elk Creek community. Police say that two siblings were playing outside when they got a rifle from a parked vehicle and a 9-year-old was accidentally shot and killed. The Sheriff’s department says all child deaths are subject to investigation.
