Two Ellington residents suffered serious injuries in a three-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Reynolds County. The Highway Patrol reports that 49-year-old Russ Pilkington and 51-year-old Rebecca Wilkins both were injured when a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old boy crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle driven by Rebecca Wilkins head-on causing the Wilkins vehicle to hit a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Bailee Hunter of Redford Missouri. Both Pilkington and Wilkins were taken to St Anthony’s Mercy South in St Louis. The accident happened on highway K about 3 miles east of Ellington.
