A woman from Melbourne was arrested after a traffic stop in Izard County. 52-year-old Sandra Lawrence was arrested after K-9 Mendi alerted Deputy Jordan on the vehicle. The deputy then did a probable cause search and inside Lawrence’s purse he found a white crystalline substance that field tested positive for meth. Lawrence is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to the Izard County Jail.
