
School and Municipal Elections are tomorrow in Missouri and there are several contested races and issues in Howell County.
Residents will be asked to vote on a Question. The Question is shall Howell County continue the existing one half of one percent sales tax for maintenance and improvements to county roads and bridges through September 30th 2029. West Plains voters will choose a Councilman candidate are Donald McClellan and Mike Topliff. Mountain View/Birch Tree School District will elect two board members, candidates are Beverly Denton, Jennifer Foster and William Altermatt. Mountain View Votes will elect a West Ward Alderman, candidates are Randy Reese, Beth Hester, Rick Thornton and John Krasuski. Mountain View Voters will also vote on proposition 1 which ask shall Mountain View impose a one half of one percent sales tax for providing funding for local parks.
