Chicago White Sox hurler Lance Lynn became the first pitcher to throw a complete-game shutout this season, stymieing the Kansas City Royals 6-0 in the White Sox’s home opener on Thursday.
Kansas City’s Brad Keller allowed back-to-back home runs in the first inning and was tagged for four runs in 3 1/3 innings overall in the White Sox home opener.
Mike Minor will start for The Royals in the second game in the series on Saturday in Chicago
