A joint investigation by the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State police, leads to the arrest of a Midway Arkansas Man. 74-year-old Loy Gene Beard was arrested after the sheriff’s office received a complaint from the parent of one of the victims. Beard is charged with felony rape, felony second degree sexual assault, felony sexual indecency with a child and felony sexual grooming of a child by person 21 years old or older. Authorities say there may be other victims. Beard is being held on $150,000 bond.
