Missouri Supreme Court Overturns Ruling In Ozark County Murder Case

The Missouri Supreme Court has overturned a circuit court ruling in a murder case in Ozark County. The Supreme Court sustained a writ of mandamus, meaning the circuit judge must allow an audio recording of a conversation between Rebecca Rudd of Theodosia and her public defender into evidence. Rudd is charged with murdering her 16-year-old daughter Savannah Leckie and then getting rid of the body in a burn pile in 2017. Rudd is schedule to go to trial May 18th in Greene County. Her trial date has been reset 8 time so far.
