A woman from Viola was killed in a two-vehicle accident Friday west of Viola. The Arkansas State Police report that 45-year-old Rebecca McClelland was killed and 67-year-old Kathleen Gamble of Henderson was injured when Gamble crossed the centerline into the path of the vehicle that McClelland was driving. Gamble was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S 62 west of Viola.
