Oregon County presiding Commissioner Patrick Ledgerwood resigned as presiding commissioner last Friday. At this time no reason for the resignation has been given. Ledgerwood had served Oregon County for the past 10 years first taking office on January 1st 2011. The Governor will appoint a new County Presiding Commissioner. For those interested in the position you can go to boards.mo.gov. No reason has been given for the resignation.
