
Strong thunderstorms moved across Northern Arkansas and Southern Missouri early this morning knocking out power to hundreds. Howell Oregon Electric Cooperative reported more than 600 members without power at one time this morning. Hundreds more were without power in Northeast Arkansas. There were reports of several trees down in Lawrence and Randolph County Arkansas. South of the Ravenden area, trees were reported down on highway 63. Walnut Ridge Fire Department reported numerous trees of houses and roads and several businesses were damaged including businesses in the Plaza shopping center and at Barton Lumber. Several trees were also reported down in Sharp and Randolph County. At this time there has been no report on any injuries.
