An Ava man has been arrested for alleged sexual contact with minors through social media. 29-year-old James Doty was arrested for three counts of endangering the welfare of a child creating substantial risk and felony sexual conduct. His bond was set at $10,000 cash only with CPS supervision to monitor cell phone activity, no contact with the victims, no social media use and no unsupervised contact with children under 17. He also is not allowed on the Ava School campus.
