A man from Salem Arkansas was injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday morning south of Lanton. The Highway Patrol reports that 70-year-old Kennard Guffy suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road and hit some concrete stairs. The accident happened on Highway 17 about a quarter-mile south of Lanton.
