Judge Harvey Allen that was to hear the case against 48-year-old Matthew Dale Forschler this Friday has recused himself. Judge Robert David Ray has now been appointed to the case. Ray was the initial judge appointed to the case. Forschler is charged with misdemeanor sexual abuse and three felony charges of fourth-degree child molestation. Forschler’s attorney Alexander O’Neill filed a plea of not guilty to the felony charges and also filed a motion for continuance. Despite the motion, the case is still scheduled for Friday, May 21st.
