Two Cabool residents were injured in an accident Thursday evening in Douglas County. The Highway Patrol reports that 41-year-old Shannon Werry and 43-year-old Brad Cowell both suffered moderate injuries when Cowell drove off the road and overturned the truck he was driving. Both Werry and Cowell were taken to Ozarks Healthcare. Cowell was also charged with DWI, careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash and no seat belt. The accident happened on Highway 181 about 10 miles southwest of Willow Springs.
