A 16-year-old girl was injured in an accident Thursday afternoon in Texas County. The Highway Patrol says the young girl is from Success and she suffered moderate injuries when the car she was driving began to slide on wet pavement, went off the road, and hit a culvert. The girl was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway 17 about two miles south of Roby.
