The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office reports that a construction worker was injured while working on a bridge in Evening Shade. According to reports, the construction jumped 20 feet off the bridge to avoid being hit by a semi that was involved in a crash. The accident happened Thursday afternoon around 3:30 on highway 167. The semi reportedly hit two-vehicle before the worker jumped from the bridge. No one else was hurt in the accident.
