Friday morning, Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway announced that she would not run for re-election in 2022 and Galloway also said that she would not seek any other state office in 2022. Galloway was appointed auditor in 2015 by then-Governor Jay Nixon then won re-election in 2018. Galloway is the only Democrat holding a statewide office in Missouri.
