Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge is warning Arkansans about catalytic converter thefts across the state. The AG released a press release giving tips on how to be defensive against these thieves. Some of those tips include:
- If capable, park your car in a well-lit area, or a garage.
- Weld the catalytic converter to your car’s frame, making it harder to cut off
- Calibrate your car’s defense mechanism to sound when vibration is felt
