Visiting hours return to Missouri prisons

covid-update

Visiting hours are back to normal at all of Missouri’s 20 state prisons, with some restrictions.

Prisoners who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can have visitors, but masks must be worn at all times, you must schedule your appointment ahead of time, and on-site screenings must be held.

The Department of Corrections does not require visitors to be vaccinated, but they do strongly suggest getting vaccinated and tested before visiting the prisons.

Some inmates have not been allowed visitors for nearly a year due to the pandemic.
