The Lincoln School in West Plains will be receiving a facelift on Thursday.

A group called Young Vision will be giving the school a coat of paint.

The painting will begin at 9 Thursday morning, and they invite the public to come to help out with the project.

Lincoln school opened in 1920 to educate African American’s during segregation.

The school now holds community events and is in a city park.

Young Vision hopes that former school member Crocket Oakes will be at the event.
