ECNN has confirmed an accident north of Kosh on highway 63 near M highway.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Oregon County Sheriff’s office, traffic was shut down on highway 63 to allow an Air Evac helicopter to land in the roadway.
Multiple listeners have called saying traffic is backed up for miles on the roadway.
Officials ask for drivers to avoid the area at this time, but if you must travel through the area to use extreme caution and yield to emergency vehicles.
