
Yesterday traffic was halted on highway 63 near Kosh.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, one person was seriously injured in the accident.
Jeff Coley was taken by air ambulance to Cox South in Springfield after the vehicle he was driving went left of center, crashing into a vehicle driven by a Juvenile from Mississippi.
A third vehicle was involved. The vehicle driven by William Beckman from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, traveled off the left side of the roadway before coming to a stop.
The Highway Patrol had no mention of injuries of the other two drivers.
MSHP is also reporting a fatal accident just north of Ava.
According to the highway patrol, 32-year-old Emert Wall of Ava crossed the center line, and 53-year-old Julie Freeman of Squires, Mo.
Freeman was announced dead on the scene by the Douglas County Coroner.
Wall and his juvenile passenger were taken to Cox South in Springfield for further treatment.
