A man from Neelyville was killed in a boating accident Friday in Ripley County. The Missouri Water Patrol reports that 61-year-old Teddy McCombs died when his boat began swamping and he entered the water but was unable to remain on the surface. The incident happened on Holland Lake about 8 miles west of Doniphan on highway 142.
