Two Van Buren Residents were injured in an accident Monday morning in Stoddard County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol 46-year-old Heather Moreland suffered moderate injuries and a 13-year-old girl suffered minor injuries when Moreland drove off the road and hit a guardrail and overturned. Moreland was ejected from the vehicle. Both were taken to St Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau. The accident happened on U.S 60 two miles east of Fisk.
