A West Plains man suffered serious injuries in an accident in Ozark County. The Highway Patrol reports that 77-year-old Charles Roland was injured when a tire from another vehicle came off and hit the car Roland was driving, causing him to travel off the road and hit a ditch. Roland was taken to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway H, 5 miles west of Dora.
Two Licking Missouri residents suffered serious injuries in an accident in Dent County Wednesday. The Highway Patrol says that 28-year-old Zachariah Ingels-Settles and 33-year-old Rudy Marr were both injured when Marr fell asleep driving, ran off the road, and struck a tree. Both were flown to area Hospitals with serious injuries. The accident happened on Highway VV, 4 miles west of Montauk.
A Woman from Mountain Grove was injured in an accident Wednesday night in Norwood. 37-year-old Andrea Hurst suffered serious injuries when she drove off the road and hit a delineator post driver, then came back across the highway into the path of a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Joshua Ogden of Pottersville. Hurst was flown to Mercy Hospital =. The accident happened on U.S. 60 at Rt C in Norwood.
Two people were injured in an accident southeast of Dora. The Highway Patrol reports that 19-year-old Tatiana Montalvo from Mountain Grove and a 17-year-old juvenile from Dora both suffered moderate injuries when Montalvo drove off the road and hit a fence. Both girls were taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. The accident happened on CC highway about two miles southeast of Dora.
Two people were injured in an accident Wednesday afternoon south of Doniphan. The Highway Patrol reports that 28-year-old Tiffany Sullivan of Gatewood and 60 years old Wiliam Gates of Maynard both suffered moderate injuries when the vehicle Sullivan was driving, crossed the centerline, and Hit a Jeep driven by 24-year-old Zackary Hoefer of Doniphan. Gates was a passenger in the vehicle that Hoefer was driving. Both Sullivan and Gates were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital. The accident happened on Missouri 21 about 5 miles south of Doniphan.
