A woman from Ravenden Springs was killed in a mowing accident Tuesday. Authorities say that 66-year-old Pamela Lopopolo was mowing around a tree when a low branch struck her in the chest, cutting her to her neck. The coroner reported that she suffered a broken back and numerous broken ribs, from being pushed against the lawnmower seat by the tree branch.
