The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of two people on active warrants. 41-year-old Tea David of Thornfield and 21-year-old Dakota Huff of Ava were both arrested after a traffic stop on Highway 95. During the stop, deputies seized a AR 15, a 9MM, and controlled substances. Both David and Huff were taken to Douglas County jail. David was charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon. Her bond was set at $15,000. Huff was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful use of a weapon. His bond was set at $20,000.
