In Tuesday’s COVID-19 press conference, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson says he’s concerned about the rise in COVID-19 cases across the state.

Arkansas is not the only state seeing a concerning rise in COVID-19 cases. Ozarks Healthcare is reporting they are seeing a spike in cases as well.

Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home said in a press release that the hospital’s inpatient number is 169, 15 of those being patients who have tested positive for the coronavirus, 1 of those patients receiving the COVID-19 vaccination prior to the positive test.

Stephanie Free from BRMC says that the numbers show the vaccine is effective and encourages everyone to protect themselves against the virus.
