A two-vehicle accident in Douglas County results in a Sparta, Missouri resident to a Springfield hospital.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Jesse Jennings was headed southbound on State Highway 0, five miles north of Goodhope, when he attempted to pass a vehicle swerving into the lane of oncoming traffic striking a Kia Sorento head-on.
Jennings was reported to not be wearing a seatbelt, he was taken to Cox South in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
