The Howell County Health Department is reporting a grim milestone.
Chris Gilliam with the HCHD tells us the county hit 100 deaths in the last week from COVID-19.
Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains is also concerned about the rise in COVID-19 cases across the county as well.
Dr. Frase with OHC says the hospital is seeing a rise in COVID-19.
She also says that the rise in cases is starting to weigh on the staff.
Both Gilliam and Dr. Frase encourages everyone to get their COVID-19 vaccine and that it is the only way out of the coronavirus pandemic.
