According to police, an accident south of West Plains sent two people to the hospital on Friday.
The crash was reported one mile west of South Fork.
The accident report states that a 2008 Ford Taurus driven by 25-year-old Briana Walters of West Plains, and a 2007 Saab driven by 44-year-old of Trussville, Alabama were stopped in traffic on Highway 160 when a 2004 Mitsubishi driven by 43-year-old Gary Burkepile of West Plains and his Passenger, 41-year-old Jeremy Burkepile, crashed into the Taurus and pushed it into the Saab.
Both Burkepiles were not wearing seat belts and were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare with serious and moderate injuries.
