The White House announced this week that they would be sending surge teams to hot spot communities in Missouri to help stop the spread of the Delta variant.
The teams will work with local health officials with contact tracing, help distribute supplies, and help local vaccination sites.
We have reached out to local health authorities in Howell County if they have been contacted about a surge team, but have yet to hear back. We’ll keep you updated.
