The West Plains Fire Department Academy class of 2021 is set to begin on August 2.
The application deadline is today.
To pick up an application, stop by the West Plains Fire Station No. 1 located at 1901 Kissinger Street.
The fire academy is limited to 21 seats and there are no fees associated with attending the fire academy.
The 20-week academy will be held on Mondays and Thursdays in the West Plains Fire Headquarters classroom.
Practical Skills will be held on every other Saturday at the West Plains Fire Training Facility.
