Governor Mike Parson will be visiting several small towns across the state of Missouri on the bicentennial tour.
Today, the Governor is set to make stops in Kansas City, St. Louis, Cape Girardeau, and Jefferson City for a ceremonial bill signing for senate bill 262.
Starting in October, SB 262 will add 2.5 cents additional tax on motor fuel, and every fiscal year will grow another 2.5 cents until 12.5 cents per gallon is reached.
