A Mountain Home man has been arrested for taking drugs from the victim’s home, which he was working in.

According to documents, 43-year-old Kevin Willis of Mountain Home is charged with felony obtaining a controlled substance by fraudulent practices, misdemeanor charges of theft of property, and misdemeanor possession of a schedule 4 controlled substance.

Willis was working in the residence in February when the victim noticed 90 half a milligram Xanax tablets missing and told the company that Willis worked for.

The company owner confronted Willis immediately, but Willis claimed he only stole 2 pills.

Charges were filed in March, but police could not find or contact him.

Willis was arrested Friday when he was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for a traffic stop.

He’s in the Baxter County Detention Center today and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
