West Plains City Council met Monday evening to discuss multiple things.
The council passed multiple bills involving the police department, such as interfering with arrest, false impersonation, stealing, and others.
West Plains Police Department Chief told council members the amendments are only to update the existing ordinances to match state recommendations.
The council also passed Bill 1143 which authorizes the Civic Center Director Eryn Walters and West Plains Tourism Coordinator Melissa Wharton to negotiate and sign agreements for entertainment and other shows on behalf of the city.
