Missouri Governor Mike Parson made it clear that he does not support a mask mandate after a social media post on Monday.
“Dictating mask mandates when we have the vaccine is ignoring the real solution and eroding public trust. From the very beginning of this pandemic, we have recognized the importance of local control; however, re-empossing mask mandates regardless of vaccination status is WRONG”
The Governor says that these policies do not consider vaccination status, taking away an incentive, and undermines the integrity of the vaccine.
