The West Plains Senior Center announced it has pushed back its reopening date to August 16.
The center’s plans were to reopen at the end of July, but with the rise in cases, did not think it was safe to do so.
On July 16 the center announced that due to safety concerns that it would close until a later date.
The decision comes after consulting with local health department officials and corporate offices and believed the best decision would be to wait until August 16 the opening.
The center will continue its Frozen Meal programs.
