The Howell County Commission released a press release saying that they have recently voted to opt back into Missouri Back to School Sales Tax Holiday August 6-8.
At 12:01 am on Friday, August 6 through midnight on Sunday, August 8, certain back to school items that are State and County tax-free include clothing priced at $100 or less per item, supply items $50 or less per item, computer software priced at $350 or less.
Mark Collins, Howell County Presiding Commissioner said “the Commission wanted to show some gratitude toward the county residents for their continuing support and give back to them”.
