The Howell County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a drug trafficking bust from over the weekend. According to the sheriff’s office on Saturday, Deputy Foster made a traffic stop on US Highway 60&63 near Pomona for an obstructed license plate that was not visible.
Deputy Foster made contact with a male and female who stated that they were traveling from Los Angeles, California to an unknown destination in Tennessee.
After further investigation, both were arrested for illegally transporting a large quantity of marijuana.
Charges have been forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor.
