MSHP is also reporting multiple accidents over the weekend.
According to crash reports, a one-vehicle accident occurred after a 2007 Subaru Forester driven by 25-year-old Katie Penn of Ava, MO was traveling down O Highway, 6 miles north of Goodhope when the car traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
The driver was said to not be wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and she was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of her injuries.
There was also a 3-year-old juvenile on board, she was taken by a private vehicle to an unknown hospital.
A 2 car accident in Texas County sent 2 people to the hospital on Saturday according to the Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred when a 2018 Ford Fusion driven by 33-year-old Melissa Postlewait of Houston, MO turned into the path of a 2006 Honda Element driven by 23-year-old Tane Kopp of Branson.
21-year-old Emiley Tanida and a 6-year-old juvenile of Branson were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
