Arkansas isn’t the only one though struggling with the virus, Howell County in Missouri was listed over the last seven days to be the #1 county in Missouri for the percentage of people infected per capita.

Vaccination rates across the county have increased in the past two weeks, which makes Director Gilliam feel a little better about the stat.
With the new Delta variant of the coronavirus infecting the younger age groups, he says it’s time for everyone to roll up their sleeves to get the vaccine.
Anyone is welcome to get the vaccine at the Health Department and for individuals who are homebound in the community, they will make a home visit if needed.
