Howell County Sheriff’s Office reports major drug bust

The Howell County Sheriff’s Office made a post on social media telling of a major drug bust on Monday:
“On August 2, 2021, at approximately 0030 hours members of the Howell County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant related to illegal narcotics at a residence on County Road 5610 in Willow Springs, Missouri. As a result, two hundred fifty-two (252) full capsules of fentanyl/heroin, a small quantity of methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, THC wax, three (3) firearms, approximately one-thousand dollars ($1,000) in US Currency, paraphernalia associated with; fentanyl/heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and approximately seventy-five (75) empty capsules, and three (3) firearms; two handguns and one long rifle were seized. Two individuals were arrested and transported to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office where they were placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges as a result of the investigation.
The Howell County Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize the hard work and dedication to Public Safety of the following Deputies: CPL Hughston, Deputy Hamby, Deputy Weaver, Deputy Mendenhall, Deputy Roberts, Deputy Bishop, Deputy Foster, Deputy Spangler, and Deputy Purgason.”
