The Thayer Back to School Fair was held today at Thayer Elementary.
The event was hosted by the Thayer School District and Clarity Church.
All supplies were given out to any student in Howell County and Mammoth Spring Students as well.
Supplies included pencils, highlighters, pens, scissors, and many other items to get the kids ready to send back to the classroom.
We spoke to James Martin, Pastor of Clarity Church in Thayer. He tells us that they’re glad to help with community outreach.
Alecia Burke helps with the program at the Thayer Elementary school and says that it’s always good to give back to the kids around the start of school.
Clarity Church in Thayer used a portion of their money raised at the firework tent to purchase supplies.
